Memory Miner

is a service and product that can record, commune and eternize precious memories.

1. Record your precious memories in the form of photo, video and sound

Bring memories from various sources: From capturing old album to bringing from SNS, users can chose various sources of memories.
Lifestage Customization: By adjusting date range, user's life stage can be customized. All the memories users upload will be automatically categorized by life stage.

2. Commune through memories for recollection and remembrance

Visit other's memory space: Users can visit friend's memory space. If users have friends who passed away, they can commemorate friends through sharing memories.
Memories to future: Users can send letter to the future with memories attached.
Put heart sticker on special memories: Users put heart sticker while looke around friend's memories. Then the notice will appear on friend's home page for once. It will not be acculmulated as any other 'Like' system.

3. Eternize your memories by making them into memory book and memory box

Memory Book: Users can make their memories into a book with automated curation technology. They can select memories they want to contain, and choose options for book customization.
Miniature: Users can make their precious item (treasure) into a 3D printed miniature.
Memory Box: It combines memory book and miniature into a compact form. It will be a representative item of user's life and memories.

Memory Miner will become a medium of reminiscence and a storage for memories.

Prototype

Memory Miner has 3 forms. Through smartphone application, users upload and recollect their precious memories. Using Web page, users make those memories into physical form such as memory book or memory box. Memory Book or Box will eternally deliver life and memories to next generation. Team memory had done participatory design, which includes participation and opinion of target user for the development process. All the prototypes are made of memories of participated user.
